Coaching/Teaching

My biggest passion is teaching! With a long history in theatrical education, I’ve taught high school and college level theater as well as private coaching and workshop presenting all over the country and in the Las Vegas area. I work in a rigorous method of psychological realism that includes influences from Paul Sills, Patsy Rodenburg, Lee Strasberg, and his own professional background. My study is aimed at students preparing for a professional future in the field of professional acting, and I’m currently accepting new students.

Performance

When I’m not camping out à la “Survivor” style in the Nevada wilderness, I’m an actor that has made my living as a professional actor for over 20 years. Some of my most notable roles include: Michal in The Pillowman, MacDuff in MacBeth, Arthur in Tournament of Kings at the Excalibur Hotel on the strip.

Directing

My background includes educational, semi professional, and professional credits. Some of my past projects include Zoo Story by Edward Albee, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Dale Wasserman, Assassins by Stephen Sondheim, The Last Five Years by Jason Robert Brown, Three Viewings by Jeffrey Hatcher, Ozma of Oz by Suzan Zeder, Greater Tuna by Ed Howard, Jaston Williams, and Joe Sears, The Tempest by William Shakespeare, Other Desert Cities by Jon Robin Baitz, Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespere, and Rent by Jonathan Larson.

Motivational Speaking

I’m a regular presenter at the Clark County School District, as well as The College of Southern Nevada, My much sought after ensemble workshop has been a highlight at State and National Thespian Conferences in both Nevada and Utah. I’ve also toured as a presenter with Utah Shakespearean Festival.

Spoken Word

With a decade’s experience, I’ve performed all over the world – including Australia, China, Japan, Thailand, and the United States! I’ve competed in spoken word on a national level. I’ve had the honor of opening for poets and performers such as KRS-ONE, Rives, Malcolm Jamall Warner, and China Hudson, held the title of Grand Slam Champion in Las Vegas, and was named Best Slam Poet in Las Vegas and Best Slam Poem by Las Vegas Poets organization.
